Cutting Boards
- Hand wash only. Wash your cutting board immediately after use. Clean with warm water and mild dish detergent. Always dry the board with a clean dish towel.
- For a deeper clean. Dampen the surface of your board using a cloth. Sprinkle salt evenly over the surface. Using half a lemon, rub the board in a circular motion. Let stand for 5 minutes and use a clean brush to remove excess salt and juices.
- Keep your board sealed and hydrated. Use a food-safe mineral oil or beeswax to prevent cutting boards from becoming dry and brittle. Always apply on a clean and dry surface.
- Avoid vegetable or nut based oils. This will cause your cutting board to smell and will change the taste of the food you are preparing.
