  3. Gently wipe the wood surface until it is clean.

Cutting Boards

  1. Hand wash only. Wash your cutting board immediately after use. Clean with warm water and mild dish detergent. Always dry the board with a clean dish towel.
  2. For a deeper clean. Dampen the surface of your board using a cloth. Sprinkle salt evenly over the surface. Using half a lemon, rub the board in a circular motion. Let stand for 5 minutes and use a clean brush to remove excess salt and juices.
  3. Keep your board sealed and hydrated. Use a food-safe mineral oil or beeswax to prevent cutting boards from becoming dry and brittle. Always apply on a clean and dry surface.
  4. Avoid vegetable or nut based oils. This will cause your cutting board to smell and will change the taste of the food you are preparing.
